For our fifteenth issue, we decided it was time to do things a little differently. We have always celebrated new and rising talent as subjects, but also as photographers, stylists, and other contributors, and we wanted to spend an issue focusing on artists, which led naturally to our (almost) photography-free Fall 2015 edition. We’ve featured the usual artists, musicians, designers, architects, and cakemakers, but we’ve used painting, illustration, sculpture, and computer rendering instead of photography for the images. Our longtime collaborator Daria Werbowy takes the cover as a sculpture molded from life by Anders Krisar. Look out for the rest of the issue here over the next few weeks.
