The Vintage You is a simply brilliant book. By which we mean it is simple and brilliant. 204 friends and collaborators of the magazine have submitted photographs of themselves as they were - ten, fifteen, twenty or twenty-five years ago. It is a who’s who of both then and now.

The introduction is written by Tim Blanks. A one page À La Recherche Du Temps Perdu for the fashion world. The book is designed by Self Service’s Ezra Petronio.

The book will be an essential purchase for the fashion establishment (how could they not? Either they or their friends are in it). But more importantly, it is a dream buy for everyone who would want to be in the world of this book. The pictures of these hugely influential fashion creatives as they once were - as young and hopeful as the book’s audience themselves - it is tremendously inspiring.
